Why is the free tier so generous?
Because a money app that holds your budget hostage is part of the problem. The free tier is a complete product — Premium is for depth (unlimited accounts and history, smarter AI, proactive alerts), not for basics.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or store your payment details. Cancel anytime from your App Store subscriptions; access continues until the period ends.
What happens to my data if I cancel Premium?
Nothing is deleted. Accounts beyond the free limit become read-only and history beyond 12 months is hidden — restore Premium and everything reappears exactly as it was. You can also export everything as JSON or CSV at any time.
Is my financial data sold or used for ads?
Never. ZenPense has no ads and sells no data. Your data lives on-device first; optional cloud sync is encrypted in transit and isolated per-account, and the AI assistant only sees on-device summaries — never account or card numbers.
Do I need an account to use ZenPense?
No — you can continue as a guest and stay fully on-device. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email only if you want cloud sync and the email-to-transaction alias.
